About the EPA Safer Choice Program

LightHouse Sirkin Center was awarded the 2021 and 2022 United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Safer Choice Partner of the Year. EPA Safer Choice is one of EPA’s premier partnership programs, working with individual industry sectors to improve human and environmental health. The Safer Choice Program recognition allows consumers to quickly identify and choose products that can help protect the environment and are safer for people to use. A long list of industry-leading companies are now partnering with the Safer Choice Program.

At LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, we have a team of talented blind and low-vision individuals who specialize in the manufacturing of eco-friendly cleaning products. Our workforce is committed to producing high-quality goods while also empowering individuals who are blind or have low-vision to live independent, prosperous, and fulfilling lives. Our team of blind and low-vision employees is responsible for everything from quality assurance, blending, and filling to picking, packing, shipping, and order processing.
